I’m sure some of you figured it out.
We defrosted our freezer. I removed quite a bit of snow-like substance.

Not exactly. I thought you had put some snowballs in the freezer during winter time and just got them out now for a little fun.
Our next door neighbors used to do that. They were like another grandma and grandpa to our kids and used to send all kinds of surprises over to them.
One summer day they brought over snowballs.
One day in December there was a knock at the door and Santa Claus was there! He told us he came with a surprise for our son and used his name. Since he looked like the school bus driver for our Christian school, I assumed it was Bill the bus driver and let him in. He gave both kids a treat and out the door he went.
I called another mom from the school to see if Bill had been there yet, and she said he had not. Later that night “Aunt DeeDee” called to ask how the kids liked their treats. It was her grown son dressed up like Santa. What a surprise!
