How’s this?
Anger: A negative strong emotion, differing from sadness or fright. The angry person will wish to make it clear that the emotion is a result of another person’s actions. The angry person will wish to make it clear that the faulted person should be punished or made to regret what they did.
What do you think? Anything you would add or change?
How about waking up to a little irony this Friday morning?
This from the Star Tribune today:
“I’m good,” he said with a grin following his convictions for first-degree murder and first-degree robbery.
And then any rational person thinks: No sir, you are not. In many ways.
But then the Christian should continue the thought process: And neither am I. In terms of righteousness, I am closer to him than Jesus.
And then we thank Jesus for his work on the cross. May He be praised.
Every time I see a movie where a character dies, I think:
This actor/actress has a loved one or a family member that hates this scene.
Especially if the character is a child.
